Rev. Brian Henderson

Rev. Brian Henderson, is a Born Again, Called, Licensed, and Ordained Minister of the Gospel of Christ. He began his ministry trek on May 7, 2000 at the Zion M. B. Church in East Chicago, Indiana, under the tutelage of Rev. Dr. J. C. Wade Jr. Rev. Henderson stated that that the best thing that Dr. Wade told him was to go to school. It was not because school could make him a preacher, but because school would sharpen his tools and enhance his knowledge and with enhanced knowledge, Rev. Henderson would be able to better equip God’s people. So Rev. Henderson took that advice and went to school earning two  Biblical Studies Diplomas, one from Ames Bible College and the other from the Chicago Bible Institute. Rev. Henderson also earned an Associates of Theology Degree from M. T. C. School of Theology. Rev. Henderson’s desire to learn would not let him stop with an Associates Degree  but he went on to earn a Bachelors and Masters Degree of Theology, from the Spirit of Truth Institute, as well.

Pastor Henderson is also a devoted family man. God has blessed our Pastor, as well as our church, with his wife and our “First Lady,” Shannon Henderson, their sons Brian Jr, Ryan, William, & Evan. Ryan & William are apart of the ZMBC Mime Ministry.

Although, Pastor Henderson has only been with us what seems to be a short time, through the aid of the Holy Spirit, a number of things have been accomplished under his leadership, for example new pulpit furniture was purchased, a new Amplifier and 3 new microphones were purchased, a new cleaning system was purchased, The ZMBC Mime Ministry was established, The Christian Education Department was established,  and Saturday Afternoon Prayer was established. We understand that if we continue to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the best days are ahead for both Pastor Henderson and the Zion M. B. Church Of Gary, Indiana Inc.
